Tomato Basil Cheese Bread

Serves: 8 Preparation: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins



  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together flour, Black Diamond® cheeses, sugar, baking powder, basil and salt if using.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk Lactantia® PūrFiltre milk, egg, and melted ¼ cup (60 ml) Lactantia® Tomato Basil Butter. Stir milk mixture into dry ingredients until combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9”x5” (2L) loaf pan. Bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Pour remaining melted butter over loaf and bake for an additional 25 minutes or until a tester inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wired rack to cool. Great served warm!
